BOSWORTH INDEPENDENT COLLEGE: UK SUMMER SCHOOL
Bosworth has been running tailored Summer School courses for over 28 years, aimed at 12-17 year olds. Our main course is General English, where students will be divided into ability groups, based on their language levels and taught by our full-time EFL staff. Students also have the option to combine it with one of 4 activities which will run 4 afternoons each week:Arts & Crafts, Tennis Coaching, Film Making, Go Karting.
Each activity is run by an expert and for the tennis and go karting students will go off-site to train. Alongside lessons we run 2 full day trips each week and we run organised activities every evening. Typical cultural days include: London, Cambridge, Alton Towers, Harry Potter Studios, Oxford etc.

The Summer Science Camp is designed for students of high academic ability (aged 14+), and offers a varied scientific programme including mathematics and practical work in the laboratory as well as daily academic English lessons. The Leicester International Summer School gives students the chance to discover British culture while developing their English skills in an academic environment. The other three specially-designed courses allow students to learn subject-specific language and academic skills in conjunction with renowned university departments. All programmes feature an individual research project ending in a poster presentation. The courses have an active social programme, including day trips to places of interest, and students have access to all university facilities. At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate of attendance, transcript and written feedback. Accommodation is provided in self-catered university accommodation within walking distance of the university and the city centre.
